Structural Coordination
At this stage, our job is to ensure the building is strong and stable enough. We check the foundation, building frame, beams, columns, and load-bearing walls. We also verify that MEP systems don’t compromise structural integrity and account for seismic and wind loads.
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Coordination
MEP systems should be treated as a single organism: all systems should work in harmony and not interfere. HVAC ensures electrical wiring does not overlap and ventilation coordinates with smoke exhaust systems. We follow the local Canadian Energy Code, Canadian Electrical Code, etc., but can also verify compliance with international standards, such as ASHRAE.
